We are supporting a well-established organisation in Altrincham with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities
* Processing high volumes of sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
* Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Managing customer queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
* Monitoring aged debt and supporting credit control activities to optimise cash collection
* Maintaining and updating customer account records within the finance system
* Assisting with the preparation of regular financial reports
* Supporting month‑end processes including reconciliations and accruals
* Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc duties when required
Requirements
* Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
* Proficient Excel skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
