A great opportunity for a sales/licensing executive within the very active Global Rights Team at Taylor & Francis Books Division. Reporting into the CRC Press Rights Manager, the sales executive will be responsible for maximising revenue by licensing content from Biomedical Science, Healthcare, Life Science, Medicine, Veterinary & Pharmaceutical portfolio. Experience within a medical/pharma sales environment would be beneficial. This role is offered on a maternity contract basis of 9-12 months. This role will be worked predominantly from home in the UK, with regular attendance at our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire, along with international travel to book fairs and to visit customers. You must have the right to live and work in the UK. Closing date for applications: 24th May 2024. What you'll be doing: Maintain and increase rights revenue in a specific list of territories by implementing a sales strategy, forecasting growth, setting & meeting sales targets. Building strong partnerships with international publishers, agents and various departments across the business. Develop product knowledge enabling proactive marketing of titles. Analyse and report on sales and territory trends whilst maintaining an awareness of competitor activity in various regions. Represent the company externally at bookfairs and undertake territory sales trips. Follow best practice and update the rights management database accordingly.
