Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting (FR) in Guernsey, the Financial Reporting team is responsible for preparing annual statutory accounts and interim financial reports for Northern Trust’s fiduciary and fund client base. These reports are produced in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards and include managing the audit process for a diverse range of entities—such as companies, trusts and limited partnerships—registered across multiple jurisdictions. The FR team has 10 qualified accountants based in Guernsey (5 on the Funds portfolio and 5 on the fiduciary client portfolio) and is supported by a team of 4 in Manila.
This Senior Accountant role will primarily focus on the asset owner segment of the fiduciary client portfolio. The Fiduciary client base comprises two key segments:
