Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we dont do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will support the organisations resilience by ensuring business continuity plans and systems are high-quality, compliant, and effective. They will work closely with the Business Continuity Manager to maintain and enhance the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), helping coordinate audits, training, and operational updates aligned with ISO 22301 standards. Theyll perform quality checks on documentation and disaster recovery plans, proactively identifying issues and recommending improvements. The role also involves supporting incident response efforts and collaborating with stakeholders to address risks, validate recovery processes, and improve organisational preparedness against disruptions.
What Youll Bring
* Certification in Business Continuity or Risk Management (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, or equivalent) is desirable.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or quality assurance roles.
* Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks, such as ISO 22301 or equivalent.
* Familiarity with risk management standards such as ISO 31000.
* Proficiency in quality management principles and document control practices.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business continuity software tools.
