As Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and reporting. You'll have the chance to move beyond the transactional stage of finance and shape strategy, reporting and insight.
Description
* Lead the finance function day-to-day, from cashflow management and bank reconciliations to monthly management accounts and board reporting.
* Take the reporting to the next level: build out management accounts, develop forecasting, and drive better insights for the leadership team.
* Work closely with Sales to link financial performance with commercial activity, attending weekly sales and board meetings.
* Oversee one person in finance (Finance Administrator).
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should:
* Either posses a relevant ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be qualified by experience (QBE)
* Have experience gained in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
* Possess commercial awareness, with the ability to translate numbers into insight
* Be excited by the prospect of working in a close-knit SME with a family culture
* Have a hands-on, collaborative approach with a "roll sleeves up" attitude
Job Offer
* Salary circa £50,000 to £55,000 level dependent on experience
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Flexible / hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office, 2 days from home and flex with start / finish times
