Technical Paraplanner – National Independent Financial Advice Firm (Hybrid)

A highly regarded, independent wealth-management firm is looking to hire an experienced Paraplanner to join a high-calibre technical team supporting high-quality advisers and HNW clients.
This is a genuinely technical paraplanning role, not admin-heavy, not “report-factory” work; with real exposure to complex planning cases and the chance to develop long-term within a respected advice business.
What you’ll be doing
* Producing full suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, tax and estate planning
* Handling complex cases including drawdown, VCT/EIS, IHT mitigation, trusts and retirement strategies
* Working closely with advisers on pre- and post-meeting planning
* Researching solutions and providers across a whole-of-market proposition
* Supporting Consumer Duty-led advice processes and technical standards
* What they’re looking for
o Experienced Paraplanner (or very strong mid-level ready to step up)
o Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or close to completion)
o Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
o Someone who enjoys being part of a team, not siloed
o Comfortable working autonomously with advisers
