We are looking for an Installation and Assembly Technician to bolster our team.
This is a dual role where you will be part of our factory team as well as our Installation team. The factory element, which will involve bench assembly of the product, including cleaning and checking all parts before making them into a kit format. You will be required to set the products up onto a production rig where you will adjust, commission electronics (motors, controls, sensors), set pitch/angle, and align mechanisms before packaging the product ready for delivery. Once trained you will be assembling a range of our external shading systems from start to finish.
As an installation Technician, you will work as part of our installation team, installing our products to residential, commercial and site premises which will include meticulously setting out, mounting, adjusting and commissioning our products to both building facades and terraces.
You will fit this dual role perfectly if you are reliable, practical, have outstanding DIY ability, and are focused on ensuring accuracy. You will need to have hand tools and drills (battery operated) experience. The nature of this role will mean lifting heavy objects. You enjoy completing projects from start to finish and be able to provide excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is a team player and is happy to take on a varied role where two days are never the same.
A full driving license is required. Cohering to health and safety standards will also be key to this role.
Salary for this role is £12.21 per hour.

You will work as part of a small, valued team where you can be proud of where you work and what you can achieve. You will be based at our factory in Sudbury, Suffolk.
You will work 40 hours per week over 4 days Monday to Thursday. You will be required to occasionally stay away.
