Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Deputy Manager role in a well-established children’s residential home. This position is ideal for an experienced professional ready to support the Registered Manager in leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations and deputise for the Registered Manager when required
Lead and develop staff to maintain a positive, high-performing team
Monitor care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and regulatory standards
Promote best practices in safeguarding, behaviour support, and emotional wellbeing
Handle staffing rotas, budget planning, and team performance
What We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations
Excellent communication and people-management skills
Compassion, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting children
