The role of the Estimator – Steel Fabrication will involve:
* Estimating position dealing with a range of high quality fabricated structural and architectural steel
* Liaising with main client, installers, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders
* Obtaining prices of products from clients
* Reading and interpreting drawings to gain understanding of projects
* Producing detailed project quotations of developments for management to review
* Producing final quotations for clients and following up
* Responding to any queries and making amendments where required
* Respond to inbound enquiries via telephone and email
* Working on project sizes ranging between £10k – £1m
The ideal applicant will be Estimator – Steel Fabrication with:
* Must have estimating or technical estimating experience in the steel fabrication or related
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* High levels of attention to detail
* Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a positive attitude
* Capable of working in a fast paced environment
* Be able to commute or re-locate
