Our client, a respected and forward-thinking financial services organisation, is looking for a People Partner (Employee Relations & Projects) to join their dynamic and collaborative People Team. This role is critical in supporting both day-to-day employee relations activity and the delivery of strategic HR initiatives that shape the future of their organisation. Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to managers on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and best practice. Lead investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, performance improvement plans, and other casework. Provide coaching and support to line managers to build confidence and capability in managing people matters. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with employment legislation. Support and lead HR projects and change initiatives (e.g., policy development, organisational change, employee engagement, well-being programmes). Use data insights to identify ER trends, recommend proactive interventions, and support continuous improvement. Partner with wider HR teams (Talent, Reward, L&D) to deliver integrated people solutions aligned with business strategy. About You: Proven experience in a generalist HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, ideally within financial or professional services. Comfortable managing a wide range of complex ER cases with sound judgement and attention to detail. Track record of delivering or contributing to HR/people-related projects. Commercial mindset with the ability to balance business needs with employee experience. Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience. Does this sound like you? Apply today.
