The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role for a Principal Test Engineer to design and implement an automation-first strategy. You’ll be the key point of escalation for the testing function, driving change and improving processes to meet the demands of a modern, tech-focused organisation.
The environment is currently heavily manual, and your mission will be to introduce robust automation frameworks that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium with .NET.
* Migrating existing test processes from Selenium with Java to .NET for future scalability.
* Driving performance testing with K6, ensuring high standards of reliability and efficiency.
* Establishing best practices for test automation, performance testing, and quality assurance.
* Mentoring and guiding QA team members in adopting automation tools and practices.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software at pace.
The Tech You’ll Be Working With
* Automation: Selenium (Java transitioning to .NET).
* Performance Testing: K6.
* Languages: .NET, Java.
* Tools: Modern CI/CD pipelines, test reporting tools, and other testing utilities to support robust automation.

* Proven experience in building and implementing test automation frameworks.
* Expertise in Selenium (Java and .NET).
* Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as K6 or similar.
