Responsibilities
* Inspiring and leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support.
* Driving performance and outcomes, ensuring targets and standards are met with care and consistency.
* Supporting staff resilience, helping practitioners stay solution-focused and persistent in the face of challenges.
* Building strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and partner agencies to create a network of support.
* Overseeing service delivery, from risk assessments to multi‑agency meetings and group activities.
Qualifications
* An ability to provide a high-quality level of supervision to support the team.
* Management oversight for the young people open to your team.
* Good leadership skills and a proven track record for delivering good outcomes for children and young people is required.
* Ability to make good quality judgements and sound decisions in situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty and challenge.
* Evidence of knowledge of child in need, child protection and safeguarding.
* An ability to build sound, productive working relationships with young people, colleagues and partners.
* Ability to maintain records and write high quality written reports which are suitable for a variety of professional settings.
* Innovative and creative in your ways of working.
* Resilient and flexible in dealing with others.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
This role is offered on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week and may include bank holidays. Bandwidth hours will be 8 am to 10 pm. You will predominantly work on scheme, Monday to Friday with a flexible approach to hours as team members will work shifts.
