Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a high-performing Church of England secondary school in Wigan to recruit a dedicated English Teacher for a long-term supply role starting after February half-term. The school has asked that its name remains confidential at this stage.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified English Teacher, ECT, or experienced supply teacher to join a supportive English department and make a real impact on pupil progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
* Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Assess, mark, and track student progress
* Manage classroom behaviour effectivelyContribute to departmental planning where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for:
* A qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passion for teaching and raising attainment
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
