Job Opportunity: Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation to find a QHSE Manager for a major site in Surrey. This role involves leading health and safety programs, ensuring compliance across departments and staff.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to implement positive change within a professional and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the QSHE Manager include:
* Engaging with stakeholders to improve safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site-operatives
* Maintaining high standards of supplier performance and developing safety management systems
* Analyzing risks and implementing mitigation strategies
* Ensuring contractors comply with legislation and company policies
Requirements for the QSHE Manager:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and relevant professional membership
* Experience in the built environment, preferably in facilities management (Hard FM)
* Ability to influence and engage subcontractors to foster safety and compliance culture
* Strong understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 standards
* Experience in life sciences/R&D is advantageous
