Role: Communications Change Programme Manager Location: Hybrid - 2 days ideally onsite at Wharton / Preston, and an occasional trip to Bristol RoleType: 6 Months Contract Rolling with INSIDEIR35 Salary: Depending on experience Role Overview: The Change Management Communication Lead will be responsible for developing and delivering the comms change management strategy across a complex portfolio of transformation initiatives within a global defence organisation. This role ensures that change is communicated effectively, planned, delivered, and embedded to maximise adoption and minimise disruption across functions, regions, and business units. This position requires a strategic thinker with proven experience leading large-scale commmunications elements ofchange programmes in secure, regulated, or defence environments. The successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills, and will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Oversee the design and delivery of targeted communication and training programmes to support adoption. Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with the organisations vision and values. Partner with learning and development teams to deliver capability-building initiatives. This is acomplicated and potentially contentious change programme that may be resisted without careful handing. We need someone as soon as possible to managecommunications, set up Champions Networks, Education programmes and manage the stakeholder and programme community.
