Our client is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer who thrives on creativity but also has the appetite to see projects built, not just imagined. This isn't a role for someone who wants to stay in the studio producing visuals alone; it's about combining design flair with the responsibility of delivery.
You'll often be working in tandem with an architect, shaping concepts and leading on interiors while also supporting contract administration and on-site delivery. The balance between roles shifts depending on the brand and project scope, but what remains constant is the chance to work at the heart of a small team on fast-moving, nationally recognised hospitality schemes.
The immediate focus is a brand-led rollout programme in the hospitality sector, typically delivering 10 to 14 projects annually. As the volume of projects increases, so will the resources, giving you room to grow, take more ownership, and step closer to a senior-level role.
What you'll be doing:
* Developing client briefs into compelling, brand-led design concepts.
* Preparing detailed drawings, moodboards, and presentation packs.
* Taking ownership of FF&E specification, procurement, and scheduling.
* Supporting project delivery alongside an architect, from logistics to contract admin.
* Presenting confidently to clients and contributing to workshops and reviews.
* Travelling nationwide to ensure designs are delivered as intended.
What you'll bring:
* A degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
* Experience working on commercial or hospitality interiors.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign.
* An eye for materials, finishes, and furniture procurement.
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Why join?
* 25 days of annual leave.
* Performance-linked bonuses twice yearly.
* CPDs and tailored development plans to accelerate your career.
* Mentoring and support from senior designers and architects.
* Immediate exposure to high-profile hospitality rollouts across the UK.
This is the role for a designer who wants to be more than a creative contributor; it's a chance to grow into a leader by learning the full arc of project delivery, from first idea to finished site.
