The business is now investing in the next phase of its ecommerce expansion across key European markets and is seeking a Head of Ecommerce Marketing to lead commercial performance across online channels and drive profitable growth.
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, and who thrives in environments where they can build, optimise and scale performance marketing operations.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of ecommerce marketing performance across paid media, SEO, CRM and lifecycle channels. The role carries shared accountability for revenue growth and profitability, ensuring marketing investment delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
You will lead a lean internal team while managing specialist agency partners, implementing structured reporting, disciplined experimentation and data‑driven decision making.
This role will suit a commercially focused ecommerce leader who enjoys building capability, driving performance and delivering sustainable growth across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Co‑own ecommerce revenue and profitability targets
* Develop and execute a multi‑market ecommerce marketing strategy
* Lead performance marketing across paid search, paid social, affiliates and emerging channels
* Drive disciplined CAC management and continuous ROAS improvement
* Define and deliver the organic growth roadmap including SEO strategy
* Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing to increase retention, engagement and customer lifetime value
* Implement structured testing and conversion optimisation frameworks
* Manage agency partners and build a high‑performing internal marketing team
* Deliver clear forecasting, reporting and performance visibility to senior leadership
* Introduce AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and marketing performance
About You
* 8–12+ years of ecommerce or DTC marketing leadership experience
* Strong commercial and financial acumen
* Deep expertise across paid media, SEO, CRM and performance marketing channels
* Experience managing agencies and developing internal teams
* Highly data‑driven with strong reporting and forecasting discipline
* Comfortable operating in fast‑changing or turnaround environments
* Experience with multi‑market European ecommerce operations preferred
* Shopify experience is advantageous
