Job Description
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity available for a skilled Mechanical Fitter in Falkirk. This is a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter from a heavy manufacturing background to join one of the biggest companies in the UK in their industry!
Schedule: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
Pay rate: £19.63 per hour (PAYE), £24 per hour (CIS)
Duration of works: 2 to 3 months
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will possess a solid background in site maintenance, covering pumps, compressors, mechanical drivers, hydraulics and pneumatics. The ideal candidate will also have:
* Served a recognised apprenticeship
* Previous experience working with fast-moving conveyor systems
* Basic 3-phase electrical experience ( but not essential)
* Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
