Pay Range: £30,339.75 - £36,000.00

My client a dynamic organization is looking for a CNC machinist to join their team in Gloucester. To work across diverse, high-impact industries such as aerospace, defence, and high-performance automotive. As a CNC Turner - Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines, ensuring precise machining of components to meet tight tolerances and specifications.
Key Responsibilities - CNC Turner
* Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines (Haas/Fanuc controls).
* Edit and load NC programs on machine controls.
* Ensure components are produced to precise tolerances.
* Inspect and measure finished components, using in-process inspection sheets.
* Maintain accurate quality documentation and communication with supervisors.
* Proactively manage Health & Safety for yourself and your team.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in your work area.
* Be flexible in performing additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements - CNC Turner
1. Proven experience setting and operating CNC Lathes.
2. Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
3. Familiarity with Fanuc/Haas controls and knowledge of M & G codes.
