About the role
As the Sr. Global Manager – EHS, you will lead the global EHS program across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that protect people and reduce risks. This role manages a geographically distributed team of EHS professionals and acts as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.
This high-impact, collaborative position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in global EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and managing large, cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
You will lead the strategic development and execution of a global EHS program supporting datacenter physical security operations. You will oversee a distributed team of EHS professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting a strong safety culture. Your responsibilities include creating policies, defining KPIs, conducting risk assessments, managing emergency plans, and driving continuous safety improvements. You will mentor staff, collaborate with stakeholders, investigate incidents, and manage client relationships to align safety performance with service expectations.
What you need to apply
We seek a professional with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with relevant safety certifications. You should have 15+ years of experience leading EHS programs, with a background in global safety development and compliance. Experience in a data center environment and working with security vendors is a plus.
You should have strong leadership of distributed teams, strategic program management, and excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders. Proven ability to influence safety culture and align EHS initiatives with business goals is essential.
This role involves 30% travel, so a valid passport, willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and flexibility for evening or weekend work during emergencies are required.
