Overview
SSC Assistant role within BDO UK, based in Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. The Tax team is part of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and provides internal support to client-facing teams across the firm.
Responsibilities
* Tax: Supporting BDO Tax stream with Personal, Corporate and Employment Tax processes.
* Preparation of UK tax returns for individual clients.
* Provide support with ad hoc administrative tasks including reporting and forecasting for seasonal periods and seeking regular feedback from requesters upon job completion.
* Deal with general administrative duties, as requested.

* Be proactive in managing your tasks and collaborating with others.
* Communicate regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to support businesses effectively.
* Identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional services to organisations we work with.
Qualifications and Skills
* A background in a finance or accounting role is desirable.
* IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications; willingness to learn new systems.
* Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
* Comfortable dealing with clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to work in an agile environment to support multiple SSC teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Problem-solving abilities.
