About The Post

This role will suit someone who is confident working with complex data and who enjoys turning information into insight. You will lead on the management of contract compliance processes, ensuring adherence to performance frameworks, risk management strategies and supporting providers to ensure full compliance. The role involves producing high-quality, detailed reports, KPI analysis and supporting internal and external partners to ensure full alignment with contractual requirements. A large part of your work will involve collecting, analysing and interpreting data from a range of sources to support:

* Performance, statistical and management information reporting across our employment and skills programmes in order to support the delivery of an effective Service.
* Evidence based decision making on service planning and resource deployment.
* Understanding the needs, challenges and opportunities within Barnsley’s local population.
* Monitoring contract delivery, funding outcomes and value for money.

You’ll be expected to work with tools such as Power BI and Excel, manage detailed datasets, and present findings clearly to colleagues, senior leaders and external partners.

Alongside the analytical work, you will also play an important role in keeping our activity compliant and well managed. This includes supporting contract management, contributing to business cases, assisting with audit requirements, and helping ensure that services meet specified standards and outcomes.


You Will Be Required To

* Support the development of the management information system.
* Interpret technical specifications to ensure compliance across programmes.
* Maintain a schedule of quality assurance checks to ensure that data is complete and compliant with contractual arrangements.
* Support Partner providers by providing guidance, advice and training to ensure compliance of the programme requirements.

You will bring strong experience in performance monitoring and project delivery, with excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills. Working collaboratively with senior leaders, partners, and stakeholders, you will help ensure our programmes are compliant and data-driven, supporting the delivery of meaningful outcomes for residents.
