IDS is looking for a new member to join our Customer Support Team as a Customer Support Agent. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to IDS, DD and MDS customers whilst generating additional sales through understanding customer needs.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission to Make Passion Possible for Dance Teachers and their students, through your enthusiasm, exceptional customer support skills, and ideally – love of Dance.

To be based from our offices in Newton Abbot, if this sounds like your perfect fit, then read on for the fuller specification. You will;

· Take ownership of customer enquiries, quotes, and orders, proactively seeking answer's to queries via telephone, e-mail, live chat, social media, and in person

· Provide support and comprehensive information to customers in a polite and professional manner

· Achieve and exceed customer service targets and KPIs through prospecting, regular customer calls and understanding the customer needs

· Know our products, seek cross and up-selling opportunities, increase individual order value and overall revenue through inbound and outbound customer communication

· Accurately record and update all information using the internal systems

· Resolve complaints positively, and understanding when to escalate

· Promote team working by sharing knowledge and positively contributing to Team meetings

· Maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data held in accordance with GDPR

· Develop and maintain cross-departmental relationships, working in cohesion to find a solution, especially with sales and marketing

· Keep up to date with and promote our value-added services and upcoming events

· Assist with and attend events where required

Skills and Experience

· Proven Customer Service and/or Sales Experience.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.

· Strong organisation and administration skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Customer focussed and always puts the customer first.

· Resilient, Enthusiastic and Passionate.

· Computer Literate.
