Are you a passionate and experienced retail leader looking for your next challenge? Do you want to make a real difference in the community while doing work you love? We’re looking for a dynamic Retail Development Manager to join our team and help take our charity shops to the next level.
In this exciting role, you’ll be working alongside an existing Retail Development Manager, sharing responsibility for the performance and development of our network of shops. Together, you’ll support Shop Managers to deliver outstanding customer service, meet income targets, and uphold high operational standards across multiple locations.
You’ll play a key part in identifying growth opportunities, shaping strategic plans, and driving innovation throughout our retail operations. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you’ll help manage budgets, support marketing and promotional activity, and ensure our values are embedded across the team. You’ll also take a lead on staff and volunteer training, helping to create a motivated and empowered workforce. When required, you’ll act as a key support to the Head of Retail, helping maintain strong leadership and continuity.
We’re looking for someone with solid multi-site retail management experience, a proven track record of leading teams and driving results, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You’ll have a collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine passion for the charity sector and community engagement.
