Are you a merchandiser looking for the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for managing people? We’re looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the CF14 3AT area. You’ll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across a variety of categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys. You’ll be supervising and training your team to ensure they’re delivering excellent service for our clients and delivering to agreed measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels and replenishing fixtures. This role is ideal for experienced merchandisers looking to step up to the next level in your career.

Role and responsibilities
* Supervise and train a merchandising team to deliver excellent client service and meet agreed measures and deadlines.
* Set up Point of Sale displays, check stock levels, and replenish fixtures across high street retailers.
* Coordinate the merchandising schedule for merchandisers in your area.
* Coach and train fellow merchandisers on merchandising principles and correct processes to ensure high-quality service.
* Act as a compliance champion, upholding merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
* Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
* Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
* Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
* Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, department managers, and store managers.
* Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.
What makes you excellent
* Willing to travel across the defined area.
* Full UK driving license and access to a car for business use.
* Comfortable with some manual handling to move and arrange products from warehouse to shop floor.
* Experience in retail merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to own your work within set timeframes and use initiative to solve problems.
* Pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
* Experience supervising, training, or coaching colleagues is a bonus.
* Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
* Comfortable using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
