Permanent Mobile Veterinary Surgeon - Covent Garden, London

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Permanent Mobile Veterinary Surgeon in Covent Garden. This role is part time for 2 days per week from 9am to 5pm but the practice can also consider 3 days per week. There will be no weekends, OOH work or on-call duties.

This is an independent business which established in and covers the South London area. Due to demand, this mobile veterinary service is continuing to grow from strength to strength and they are now in need of an additional part time veterinary surgeon to join them.
The role involves providing home consultation visits to clients around the South London area. Offering great flexibility and hours which can work around you and your family this role offers an opportunity for someone looking to perhaps take a step back and move into a consulting role where they can still enjoy client interaction whilst utilising their veterinary skills. The role is consultation only and they provide a variety of services to their clients.

9. You can use your own vehicle with mileage paid at 45p per mile (commercial insurance required) or there is a fully equipped practice vehicle provided with congestion charge also paid as required

About them:
18. They see a wide range of issues and can provide a full range of services at home including blood tests, checking lumps, procedures under sedation, and faecal/urine testing
19. All of these services are carried out in the pet's home environment, where they are most relaxed and comfortable
20. They are a registered practice with the RCVS and carry a full pharmacy of medication
21. In the rare event that surgery or hospitalisation is required, they work with practices across London

Facilities:
The practice offers a wide range of consulting veterinary services including: blood test, microchipping, pet travel, emergency care, vaccinations, sick pet visits, preventative healthcare, end of life care, geriatric clinics, flea and worming, starter packs and prescription checks.
Package:
31. Salary: £36, to £60, pro rata, commensurate to experience
32. Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
