Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be capable of working on various projects, from residential to commercial builds and reactive works. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Builder will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of construction are completed to high standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and weatherproofing.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
* Carry out painting duties to finish surfaces as needed.
* Plumb fixtures and fittings accurately in accordance with specifications.
* Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure project completion.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Skills
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills:
* Experience in roofing techniques and materials.
* Strong ability to use hand tools effectively, ensuring safety and efficiency.
* Skillful in painting techniques for both interior and exterior finishes.
* Understanding of plumbing systems, including installation and maintenance.
* Experience as a carpenter, with an eye for detail in woodwork.
* Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
