As the organisation continues to grow, we’re seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead the H&S strategy, ensure compliance, and embed a culture of safety and wellbeing across all services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and implement a robust health and safety strategy across multiple care and education settings.
* Champion a positive safety culture, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
* Ensure full legislative compliance and promote best-practice safety initiatives across operations.
* Develop, monitor, and report on H&S performance metrics to drive proactive improvement.
* Support staff, contractors, and management teams to work safely and efficiently.
* Conduct audits, risk assessments, and investigations, identifying and mitigating hazards.
* Deliver health and safety training, coaching, and practical support to empower teams.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to embed safety excellence in all aspects of service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (essential).
* Full UK driving licence (travel required between sites).
* Proven experience in health and safety management within care, education, or social care settings.
* Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management frameworks.
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence, lead, and inspire teams.
* Strategic yet hands-on approach, with a passion for creating safe, inclusive environments.
