Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering patient advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Duties
* Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct medication and dosage.
* Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
* Monitor patient medication records and update as necessary to ensure safety and compliance.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals
* Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy protocols, legal requirements, and health and safety standards.
* Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably with community pharmacy experience.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient groups.
* Organised with meticulous attention to detail to minimise errors in dispensing medication.
* Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare teams.
* Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
