Do you want to make an impact in health intelligence? We are expanding our Analytical Services team at NHS Lothian and are looking for Senior Information Analysts to join us. You will work closely with a range of customers at strategic and operational levels to understand and find solutions to complex analytical problems and communicate intelligence clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
You’ll work collaboratively across the health and social care system to deliver impactful, high‑quality information and intelligence that supports decision‑making to improve services and patient care.
Qualifications
* Expertise with complex data analysis using at least one structured programming language such as R, Python or SQL.
* Experience presenting complex data to a variety of audiences, using data visualization techniques.
* Relevant numerate degree; equivalent to SCQF level 11.
* Experience working in a permanent, full‑time Agenda for Change Band 6 role (or equivalent).
Employment Details
Location: Westport, Edinburgh (hybrid working is the norm; flexibility across NHS Lothian sites expected). This is a permanent, full‑time Agenda for Change Band 6 position.
