Job summary
We are recruiting for 2 Information Governance Support Officers to support the delivery of Information Governance requirements within DHCW. The role focuses on the National Intelligent Integrated Audit Solution (NIIAS) and involves supporting the NIIAS Manager and team in maintenance, growth and application of the NIIAS solution, including following up on audit notifications to key clinical user groups. The post involves coordinating with stakeholder organisations across NHS Wales and supporting robust Information Governance guidance. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
To support the Information Governance team by: setting up and maintaining team files; administering team, regional and external meetings; and working with the team manager to produce required products within the agreed brief.
* Focus of the role on the National Intelligent Integrated Audit Solution (NIIAS): supporting the NIIAS Manager and team in maintenance, growth and application of the NIIAS solution; tasks include following up on audit notifications to key clinical user groups.
* Carry out Gap analysis and risk assessment activities, such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
* Prepare and complete routine and ad-hoc reports required by the Information Governance team.
* Produce specified deliverables as defined by Information Governance team members (e.g., creation of spreadsheets or databases, report writing).
Support Information Governance responsibilities across DHCW and liaise with stakeholder organisations that rely on robust IG advice and guidance. This may span across NHS Wales projects and programmes and the future organisational strategy of DHCW and the Code of Conduct service.

* Be the initial point of contact for all correspondence for the team, respond to queries independently where possible, and escalate complex queries as needed.
* Support the development and maintenance of Information Sharing Protocols under the Wales Accord on the Sharing of Personal Information (WASPI).
* Liaise with suppliers or account managers as required.
* Guide users and stakeholders with solving bespoke software issues (e.g., accessing and using NIIAS or the Information Sharing Gateway) across sectors. Arrange travel for members of the Information Governance team as needed.
