We are looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Haydock, providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees across multiple business areas.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, offering guidance on employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
* Support managers in resolving people issues early and informally, reducing the need for formal processes.
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies, minimising legal and reputational risk to the organisation.
* Proactively identify ER trends and emerging risks using data to take specific and informed actions.
* Build strong, credible relationships across the business by coaching and developing managers to handle people matters effectively.
* Support strategic HR initiatives such as restructures, organisational change, mergers and acquisitions.
* Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Work closely with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to align HR activity with business needs.
* Promote and uphold best practice in employment law, HR policy and people development.
* Serve as an HR expert in areas such as flexible working, diversity and employee wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
* CIPD qualified or equivalent with broad generalist HR experience.
* Proven background in a fast‑paced, commercially focused environment.
* Confident influencing senior stakeholders and coaching managers at all levels.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, TUPE, change programmes and the employee lifecycle.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities with autonomy and professionalism.
* Excellent communication, analytical and project delivery skills.
