Eames are currently partnered with a leading global insurer to hire a Senior Commercial Property Underwriter into a high-performing and well-established London Market team.
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Property underwriter who enjoys trading, building broker relationships and driving both new business and portfolio growth within the middle market space.
The Role
* Underwrite and grow a portfolio of Commercial Property business across the UK
* Drive new business activity while maintaining a strong and profitable renewal book
* Build and manage a pipeline through proactive broker and market engagement
* Quote, negotiate and convert business in line with appetite and targets
* Work closely with distribution, risk engineering and wider underwriting teams
* Deliver a high level of service and responsiveness to broker partners
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience within Property underwriting
* Strong track record of new business development and trading
* Experience within the middle market segment
* Confident operating with underwriting authority
* Commercially astute, decisive and relationship-driven
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
