My client is in search of a Home Manager with nursing qualifications to oversee the commissioning of their eagerly anticipated new care home situated in the Standish area. This home specialises in providing care for individuals with EMI and dementia needs. It is a purpose-built establishment, perfectly tailored to cater to the needs of dementia care, with an expected opening in late September. The Commissioning Manager will collaborate closely with Regional Management to ensure all commissioning responsibilities are fulfilled before the home's opening.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Manager to oversee the commissioning of the medium sized care home, as well as recruiting a dedicated staffing team, completing admissions into the home and building excellent relationships with the local authority and CQC. It is important that the successful candidate is nurse qualified with an active pin and has previous experience of managing a care home. You will be required to have a strong understanding of CQC regulations as well as excellent leadership skills.

Location
This role is based in Standish and is commutable from Wigan, Preston, Bolton and Blackburn
