A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Manager to join a busy commercial vehicle sales operation in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role supporting the senior management team and driving retail performance across both new and used LCVs.
The role will suit someone currently working as a Sales Controller, Business Manager, or Retail Manager within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of commercial vehicles and FCA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Support and lead the retail sales team to meet volume and profit targets
6. Monitor sales data and drive performance across key metrics
7. Ensure all customer interactions meet the highest standards of compliance and service
8. Coach and develop the team on process, product knowledge and systems
9. Deliver consistent results in customer satisfaction and sales efficiency
10. Work closely with the Sales Manager to execute sales campaigns and promotions
11. Maintain a full understanding of new vehicle technology, finance, and aftermarket products
What’s Needed:
12. Previous experience in a senior sales role (Controller/Manager level)
13. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, funding options, and compliance procedures
14. Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching ability
15. Confident working to targets and managing KPIs
16. A full UK driving licence is essential
