Retail security officer PET-1 with Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services.
Responsibilities
* Protect customer’s property, people and assets by providing security services in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
* Deliver results that meet or exceed KPI/ SLA and support contract retention.
* Maintain compliance with UK law, security policies, and relevant legislation.
* Ensure front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA Licence are displayed at all times.
* Report health & safety hazards, incidents and potential threats immediately.
* Maintain accurate incident reports and record keeping.
* Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority.
* Use technology to achieve key work objectives and pursue continuous professional development.
* Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Qualifications & Requirements
* SIA Licence (current).
* SC Clearance desirable.
* Front‑line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision required.
* Ability to work in a systematic, orderly way.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
