Our Finance team are the team that ensure invoices are processed in accordance with Marshalls policies and procedures, and they have acute attention to detail making sure that Marshalls are paid on time and that invoices processed are correct. They produce a significant number of invoices in any 1 month making sure the ledgers they keep are up to date and correct at any time of day.
We now have an exciting and new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. We're not just looking for an administrator; we're searching for a confident communicator to become an integral part of our Finance team. What’s the mission?
Our Accounts Payable Administrators manage our end-to-end ledger and aged debt process. You will be responsible for processing around 2,500 invoices a month via our ERP/OCR system, reconciling supplier accounts, and resolving queries with site managers. This is a crucial, high-impact all-round administration role that requires excellent communication and offers the opportunity to own a key financial function with monthly reviews and full team support.
What are the mission-critical skills?
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and quickly become an integral part of the team:
1. Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable role
2. Organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work loads
3. Good working knowledge of Excel
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
5. A close attention to detail and accuracy
6. Be prepared to be a flexible team member
