Offer description

Brockington College is a highly successful 11‑16 school with 1,200 students, mainly from the catchment villages of Enderby, Narborough, Huncote, Thurlaston and Croft. It is a popular choice for secondary pupils from a wide out of catchment area, from Leicester city to the north and Stoney Stanton to the south.

The role is for a permanent receptionist, to join our existing team as soon as possible. The appointment requires Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm, including a 30‑minute unpaid break, during term time plus five days.

Applicants should be suitably qualified and eager to support a school that values its staff. Our members are hardworking, caring and committed to the values and ethos of the college, of which we are very proud.

Brockington College is a Church of England Academy attended by students from a variety of faith backgrounds; our strong Christian ethos is the firm foundation for all that we do.

The college was graded as ‘excellent’ in our recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools in June 2023. Our state‑of‑the‑art facilities contribute to teaching standards and staff well‑being. Staff enjoy a range of CPD and INSET opportunities, a robust support system for ECTs, free car parking, weekly sports opportunities and voluntary prayer meetings, alongside other wellbeing opportunities.

In addition to enrichment and residential trips for students, staff support trips to destinations such as the Forest of Dean, Norfolk, Iceland, Kenya and China.

To apply, please complete the application form and equal opportunities monitoring form. The closing date for applications is Monday 3 November 2025 at 9 am. Interviews will take place shortly afterwards; successful candidates will be informed by e‑mail.

Applications will only be accepted on the form provided; CVs or other forms of application will not be considered.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is regulated activity and subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check. An overseas criminal record check or certificate of good behaviour is required before appointment for candidates who have lived overseas for a period of three months (including aggregated time), aged 16 or over in the previous 10 years. References will be requested for all shortlisted applicants before interview.

Embrace Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We believe that all individuals are of equal value and we are committed to equal opportunities for all, ensuring equality of opportunity in line with the Equality Act 2010.
