Role Overview We are seeking a qualified Food Safety Officer to join a local authority in the East Midlands on a full-time hybrid contract. This role involves managing food safety and health & safety enforcement casework, with flexibility across remote and on-site work. Key Responsibilities * Lead inspections of food establishments in accordance with Cluster 4 competencies. * Manage a full range of food safety and health & safety enforcement casework. * Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act and Health and Safety at Work Act. * Handle complex correspondence and documentation efficiently. * Meet deadlines and align work with Council objectives. * Attend site visits and office meetings as required. * Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and enforcement actions.
