Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire (must live within a 10-mile radius)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay: Up to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate start available
About The Role
We are looking for experienced Sheet Metal Fabricators to join our clients growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position involving work both in our Halifax-based factory and occasionally on client sites, so flexibility is key.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and assembly of metal components
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Operation of fabrication tools and machinery
* On-site fitting and installation work as required
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
* Collaborating with the wider team to meet deadlines
Requirements
* Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication
* MIG/TIG Welding
* Must be 25 or over (to meet company vehicle insurance criteria)
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Must live within a 10-mile radius of Halifax
* Good attention to detail and workmanship
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work in both workshop and on-site settings
Desirable
* CSCS card or relevant site experience
