Hours: 50 hrs minimum per week, weekend availability
Salary: 50k-65k + Company Vehicle

We’re now looking for a skilled HGV Mechanical Fitter to join our professional maintenance team.
The Role
As an HGV Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, inspection, and repair of our fleet of HGVs and specialist waste vehicles. Working from our state-of-the-art workshop, you'll help keep our operations safe, reliable, and on the move.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs and waste vehicles
* Conduct scheduled servicing, MOT preparations, and inspections
* Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
* Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance logs
* Ensure all work is compliant with safety and legal standards
Requirements
* Experience as an HGV mechanic/fitter
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with hydraulic systems (advantageous)
* Full UK driving licence (Class 2 HGV licence preferred)
