Job description:
Duties
* Perform NDT inspections on various products including welds, castings and forgings.
* Follow verbal and written instructions accurately to ensure inspection quality and compliance.
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
* Work under the guidance and supervision of certified Level 2 and Level 3 NDT technicians to gain knowledge and experience prior to undertaking PCN Level 2 qualifications.
Key Skills & Attributes
* A good standard of general education. A minimum of Grade 4 in English and Maths is essential.
* Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Comfortable working alone or alongside others in a team-oriented environment.
* Demonstrate a strong desire to learn, stay self-motivated and a willingness to advance professionally in a technical role.
* Full, Clean UK driving licence
Salary
Salary starting from £20,800 or £25,396.80 depending on age with increasing pay increments when training has been completed.
