Your new role
1. To ensure that young people are treated with respect and dignity and are empowered to make informed decisions about their own lives.
2. To provide a safe and weing environment that encourages young people to belong, gives
They have opportunities to contribute, in order that they can thrive.
3. To ensure that young people are effectively risk assessed before an offer of amodation
(with a relevant Safety Plan where appropriate) and that once accepted are fully inducted by the client.
4. Line management responsibility for Assistant Manager, Pathways Resettlement Worker, Housing
5. First Engagement Workers and Housing Engagement Workers.
6. To recruit, induct, manage and develop the post holder’s direct reports, including recorded
7. Monthly line management supervision and annual appraisal, ensuring a motivated and effective staff team.
8. Adhering to sound management practice. Setting appropriate targets for the direct reports, monitoring performance and supporting them to maximise their potential.
9. Challenge poor performance, supported by senior housing staff and HR colleagues.
10. Support the development of team members in Trauma Informed Practice.
11. Identify and organise training opportunities for the team to ensure that the team can work effectively with people withplex needs.
What you'll need to succeed
12. Must have management experience previously within a social housing or social care setting
13. Experience of working with vulnerable clients
