About the Role
As our Machining Supervisor, you’ll lead a skilled team of Machinists and oversee daily workshop operations across borers, lathes, drills, and mills. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement and supporting capability development across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Machinists
* Plan, allocate, and supervise daily machining activities
* Manage materials, stock, and workflow to meet deadlines
* Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
* Deliver training and upskilling programs to enhance team capability
What You’ll Bring
* Australian‑recognised Machining Trade Qualification
* Strong machining knowledge across tooling, systems, and production processes
* Experience with Fanuc machine controls
* Strong understanding of quality and safety management systems
