Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Advanced Pharmacist to join our professional team. You will provide a holistic, highly specialist pharmaceutical care service to patients accessing the HIV and sexual health services within Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust to achieve high quality, cost effective and evidence-based prescribing/use of pharmaceuticals in specific areas. We are a close team, and we welcome fresh ideas from a professional approach.
Responsibilities
* Act as a clinical specialist and support the Lead Specialist Pharmacist in providing specialist pharmacy services to the sexual health service, including prescribing, support work and developing initiatives.
* Work closely with service users, families, friends and carers to influence how people experience our services.
* Take a leadership role, acting as a role model for others.
* Ensure the team provides effective care planning that meets professional standards and is in collaboration with service users and carers.
* Facilitate reflection on service delivery and identify quality improvement opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in HIV and Sexual Health is preferable and advantageous, but not essential as specialist training will be provided to the right candidate.
* Advanced Pharmacists are required to apply clinical knowledge to deliver high standards of patient care within the service.
