A well-established North East law firm is looking for an experienced Criminal Law Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive, professional environment.
Youll advise and represent clients across the full spectrum of criminal matters, attending police stations, Magistrates and Crown Court hearings. The role involves managing your own files, maintaining compliance and confidentiality, and providing high-quality legal advice to new and existing clients.
Youll also have the chance to support senior team members on complex cases and play an active role in business development.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (ideally 3+ years PQE, but all levels considered)
* Proven experience handling criminal law matters
* Duty Solicitor Accreditation is highly desirable
* Police Station Accreditation and/or Higher Rights of Audience an advantage
* Excellent communication, advocacy, and client care skills
* Confident managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
