Location: East Ayrshire (Kilmarnock).

Job type: Full Time Permanent; part time contracts available.

About The Role

Personal Assistants at Enable play a vital role in supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes. Your work will involve providing personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support and helping to expand the social networks and connections of the individuals you support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist supported individuals with personal care as required.
• Help with moving, handling and other mobility tasks.
• Provide positive behavioural support.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety, wellbeing and the aspirations of the people you support.
• Help expand social networks and connections.

About You

You have commitment, dedication and a desire to support people with learning disabilities. You bring values that align with Enable’s mission and you are eager to learn and develop.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No prior care experience required; we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
• Strong commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
• Will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.

Salary: £13.45 per hour.
