St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Haywards Heath Early Years Teaching Assistant required for September 2026 The Governors of St Joseph’s Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team in September 2026. Closing date: Wednesday 17th June 12pm Short listing: Wednesday 17th June Interview date: Wednesday 24th June St Joseph’s has a diverse community of staff and students, from a wide range of backgrounds. St Joseph’s Catholic Primary is part of the BOSCO Catholic Education Trust. The BOSCO CET is currently a group of eighteen schools working together for the benefit of each school and the wider Catholic community in Sussex. This is made up of fifteen primary schools and three secondary schools. St Joseph's Catholic Primary School (Haywards Heath) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All employees will be expected to undertake an enhanced check with the DBS. This will be a part time, permanent position in Early Years, working 17.5 hours a week. This will be every day from 11.45am to 3.15pm. It will be paid at a Grade 4 point 5 £25,583 pro rata. The role will also include working as a Midday Meals Supervisor every lunchtime.
