Innovation & Development Engineer
Cardiff
£35,000 - £42 ,00 per annum + pension, life insurance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of new door designs, features, and hardware to enhance product offerings.
2. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes influencing product innovation.
3. Drive value-engineering initiatives to optimise manufacturing efficiency and profitability while maintaining product function and quality.
4. Address product development needs arising from customer complaints, procurement requirements, or quality concerns.
5. Ensure all development projects follow the structured Innovation & Development process and align with IQC priorities.
6. Produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks to support design and manufacturing processes.
