To help meet this rising demand, were on the lookout for a proven Credit Controller to join our fast-growing team.

Each brand boasts an extensive portfolio of products including facing bricks, blocks, rainscreen cladding systems, architectural masonry, paving, roof tiles and slates. The Group distributes, and in many cases installs superior quality and strategically important building materials from major UK and European manufacturing partners, providing product solutions to both private and commercial specifiers, contractors, developers and builders.
Responsibilities of the role:
* Proactive liaison with customers and / or sales team including via telephone, email and letter
* Prompt management and resolution of queries
* Maintenance of a clean ledger
* Debtor account reconciliations
* Cash allocations / postings
* Customer account set up / credit checking / management of credit limits
* Escalation of issues as appropriate to FM / FD
* Support of cash forecasting, debtor reporting and audit processes as required
* Support to the wider Finance team where required
Role requirements:
* 2+ years experience working in Credit Control / Finance role#
* Experience of using Microsoft Great Plains / Bistrack / Other Accounting Packages
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Calm and assertive being able to communicate across all levels of the business.
* Capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Methodical with attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable-
* AAT / ICM student
* Knowledge of construction industry / distribution businesses
